Preparing for Standardized Tests: Science is a comprehensive app designed to help high school students prepare for the SAT or ACT tests.

Preparing for Standardized Tests, Reading - Green Light Learning Tools

Product Description

Practice Tests: This app includes four practice tests that accurately reflect the full range of types and difficulties of questions students will find on the science part of the ACT. Each question is timed to help students manage their time. By taking the tests, users can gauge how well they are likely to do on the actual test and which skills and concepts they need to review. Each question is linked and correlated to a brief lesson that gives a step-by-step method for solving that type of question.

Lessons: The 9 lessons reflect the main science skills students need to master in order to answer the science questions on the ACT. Each lesson states the tested skill and gives an example through which students are guided to the correct answer. An additional practice question on the same skill ensures that students internalize how to solve questions on that specific skill. By mastering all of the lessons, students will be well prepared for the broad range of questions on the science portion of the ACT.
